Headaches

Post by Sclark08 » Sat Apr 12, 2014 2:27 am

All of a sudden in the mornings I am waking up with headaches. I have used Cpap almost 2 years switched to Bipap last year due to COPD and numbers have been wonderful. Most days AHI below 1
I use a bite guard at night. I do have TMJ. But I used to get headaches before Cpap. Why would they come back. I can't post sleepyhead my scanner is not working. Thanks

Using the snip tool & photo bucket works too. Search photo bucket & you should find the thread that gives instructions.

Are they the same? Headaches can be a sign of sinus infection and CPAP will increase the risk of that. Sinus headaches tend to be more pin point pain at specific locations. I wish I could find that diagram from scuba class...

I've found I have fewer sinus infections/ problems since I started using exclusively nasal pillows. I do use the aromatherapy, sinus blaster combo, but have used that for years with my nasal mask too. I really believe its the nasal pillows helping my sinus condition.

I stopped getting the 'morning headaches' when I went on CPAP 14 years ago. Still get migraines, but I don't wake up with them.
