Potty Breaks: How Badly Are Stats Affected?
Re: Potty Breaks: How Badly Are Stats Affected?
Do exactly as I tell you, period. When you feel the need to urinate and you are lying in bed with your mask on. Take the mask off and simultaneously reach out and turn off your machine. Go to bathroom. Come back, put on mask and take a few deep breaths and exhalations to start the machine or if it is not auto start, hit the button to start it and go back to sleep, period. Do not leave the dang thing running while you are in the can, period.

I adopted a tip from the forum a long time ago and have used it ever since. When I need a pinkelpause, I turn the machine off, disconnect the hose at the machine and wrap it around my neck.
I don't want to take the mask off and have to put it back on. Takes too much time and tends to get me wide awake.
I use this quick connect on the end of the hose that connects to the machine - https://www.cpap.com/productpage/hose-q ... nnect.html
(and quit whining.)

That alone would give me an "attitude" about the sleep study thing. And probably would give most men an "attitude." Perfectly normal. And if you are not a guy, you probably don't understand that attitude!DaveDzRochNY wrote:a

I never had one of those during sleep studies. But if I ever did, I would wear it proudly and look forward to see the next morning if I broke any of the sleep lab's records!
