I've been using my Resmed S9 ASV for a few weeks now. Everything has been going okay. I definitely feel better than I did before using the machine. When I plug my SD card into my computer and upload it into Sleepyhead I get all kinds of info - some helpful and some that I have no clue about. But, I can see if I've had a bad night when my pressures go crazy high occasionally.
So, my husband uses a straight CPAP. Lately he has been complaining of feeling so run down he is worried that is something wrong with him. But, I'm wondering if his CPAP is not working well for him now. So, I told him I could upload his SD card data into Sleepyhead and see what it shows. He has a Remstar Pro C-Flex + with a Mirage Quattro FF mask that he has been using for about 1 1/2 years.
My question is, I get all kinds of data in Sleepyhead because I have a great machine. And since it's an ASV, I can see when the pressures go wild when I'm having issues. With a straight CPAP, what will it show me? Anyone have exprience with his machine? I'm hoping it's not a brick with no useful data.
Thanks for any help!

Re: What will Sleepyhead show?
Your husband has a PR System One Pro cpap machine if I remember right? Either model 450 or 460 (on the bottom of the blower unit).
It gathers a lot of information..the basics with AHI, leaks, AHI event category breakdown, flow rate, etc.
Your machine gathers a little bit different sort of extra data but the basics are the same.
You will easily be able to see if AHI is below 5 and if leaks are a problem (just remember the PR S1 machine reports total leaks which includes the vent rates so his leak numbers will also be higher than yours).

Re: What will Sleepyhead show?
Thank you Pugsy! I always appreciate your help. I will put it into Sleepyhead tonight to see what it says. So, I'm looking for AHI and leaks?

Re: What will Sleepyhead show?
That would be the main things I would look at. See if the AHI is elevated and see if leaks might explain the elevation (if it is elevated) and if we can blame leaks then if AHI is elevated it might be the pressure is sub optimal maybe due to sleep position or REM.Ladyflower wrote:So, I'm looking for AHI and leaks?
May not show anything that we could blame feeling crappy on but start with the easy stuff first.

Re: What will Sleepyhead show?
Be sure to set your husband up as a separate user so you don't mix them up together. When you open sleepyhead after that you'll have to select which to use his or you.
