The headgear for him and for her is exactly the same size.
The color is the only difference (and the pillow sizes)

I know this thread is a little old, but I wanted to offer a tip I came up with. I love the unit, and felt it's light-years more comfortable, quieter, and more durable than the Breeze I've been using for years, but I just could not avoid leaks. I found myself waking up multiple times a night to reposition the nasal pillows to get a better seal. I then tried the #10 O-Ring trick, and it seemed that helped a little but did not fully solve the issue. Although I have an average sized Med-Lrg head for a man, I finally came to the conclusion that a tighter headband would help as I was noticing that the split band in the back would move around during the night.

So, I finally tested overlapping the headband material about 1/4" on both sides, just before the split, and that worked perfectly to tighten it up. Now, I have sufficient tension to avoid leaks 100%, and better, the two straps in the back stay in place most of the time. Obviously, everyone's head is different so while testing, I used buttoneer 'staples' to test how much overlap to go with. About 6 staples on each side worked great. Once I came up with the perfect overlap, I carefully removed the 'staples' and simply took a needle and thread and sewed them together tightly. Absolute perfection! I wish I could upload a photo, but I hope this makes sense.

I am now 6 months into using this Airfit P10 and it's like a whole new world of comfort. I also don't have to worry about breakage, as this thing is almost break-proof and packs very easily. I dreaded traveling with the Breeze as it was so fragile, I can't count how many times I had tough business meetings after a hotel night without CPAP because the Breeze broke somewhere along the trip. That nightmare is a distant memory.

I think the only thing I'm tempted to do is to have sewn in two small vertical straps about 3" to 4" long and perhaps 5" apart across the two back straps to create a basket cupping the back of the head. I haven't had the need to do this yet, but it's waiting in with wings.

I hope this helps.

I have used the P10 extra small for women for over a year now. When I first got it, I couldn't stop the leak. I even went back to my previous mask. I'm a very small woman, only 4'10" and weigh 93 lbs. Well, the previous mask is much heavier than the P10 so I went back to the P10. I understand lifting the bottom of the mask and holding it there eliminates the leak. I noticed that when I have done that, the leak goes away. But, I can't hold that all night. Here's a few things I did/do to help get rid of the leak. I sewed velcro on the straps so the straps adhere to my hair. I don't put anything inside my nostrils. What I do is to let the nasal pillows rest against my nostrils, then I carefully push the nasal pillow up just a tiny bit with my finger nail. I let the nasal pillow relax against my nose and it generally stops leaking. Sometimes, I have to do this several times. It takes very small adjustments until the leak goes away. If you try to do big adjustments, you can't stop the leak. Recently I got a new machine, the Resmed AirSense 10 and the hose seems a bit stiff and I think causing leaks when I move during the night.

Try larger pillows and have the strap split wide with one half on your neck and one on top of your head. Works better that way for me.
