Nite Ranger,
Welcome to the forum. The best advice I can give you at this time is to relax. Pick your issues one at a time and find a way around them. Your attitude is the most important factor in being successful.
In the beginning I could only put up with the mask for an hour so I did the hour. I was surprised how quickly the hour became 3 then 4 hours. My first mask leaked and tickled my eye lashes which woke me immediately. I expected a fight with my DME when I requested a different mask but they sent one out the next day.
The people on this forum can and will help you find your solutions to the issues you are facing.

Remember the old proverb "A journey of a thousand miles begins with a single step"? You have done the sleep studies, made the decision to face the problem, and have your machine. You are already on your 4th step. Keep going 1 step at a time.

If you have not already done so...go to the top of the page in the announcements section and read all the pointers and tutorials.

Everybody is different. I am two months in from starting cpap and I am a side sleeper with FF mask, Quattro Air. I don't have a cpap or other special pillow. I have used a tempurpedic (memory foam) pillow for about 10 years, and it works nicely for me with my mask. Lots of people use buckwheat pillows or the cpap pillows that have side cutouts. I sleep towards one edge of the pillow, and the hose is in the bed, wound up over my pillow where it's not in the way. It takes time and some trial and error to figure out how to deal wit the hose. If you google "cpap hose hanger" or "cpap hose buddy" you will find a solution for getting it off the bed. Some people hang the hose over the headboard.

Now using AirFit F10 mask; Quattro Air is backup mask. RemZzzz mask liners with both.
