I had an appointment with my doctor on Friday. I told him that I have been adjusting my settings and monitoring my data. He didn't seem to mind at all. I told him that I am not feeling any better.
He immediately scheduled a appointment with a pulmonologist. What should I take or ask for when I see this dr. I suspect that I am going to need an asv machine due to all the centrals. I have good
nights then really bad nights. see above 2 posts. I don't think that I am getting any rem sleep. Thanks in advance for any suggestions or input.

Re: Good nights and Bad nights
Your leak line is looking awesome good...so pat yourself on the back.
Do you notice anything different about the 2 nights that you can put your finger on?
Do you find you sleep poorly and are awake often on the "bad" night or are you pretty much sleeping right through the night?
Do you notice any difference in how you feel the next day after either night?
Out of a 2 week period...how many nights are "good" and how many are "bad"?

Yes my leak line is looking good thanks to you and this forum. I don't notice anything that I can put my finger on. I seem to sleep the the same on good nights and bad nights. I feel good some
mornings and bad some mornings. No correlation to the numbers. Out of a 2 week period I have a bad night about every 4 days. Then it starts over with good numbers and then about 4 nights later I
have a bad night with lots of centrals. as far as how I feel. I will feel pretty good for about 5 days out of 14.

Re: Good nights and Bad nights
If this pattern of bad nights doesn't gradually diminish or gets worse you probably should be talking with your doctor about it.
I don't know what it the cause or what to do about it ...if it needs to have anything done about it at this point.
It looks like Complex Sleep Apnea but to have it pop up so intermittently...I have no idea what the cause is.
If I remember right you aren't taking any meds that might suppress respiration (pain pills mainly) so I don't know why it seems to cycle. Just watch it.
When are you supposed to be seeing your doctor again?

No I'm not taking any meds. my doctor referred me to a pulmonologist. They are supposed to be calling me on Monday, to set up an appointment.

Here is the last seventeen days. I have tried many different settings, and it seems that my numbers look pretty good for a while and then the centrals show up. I change my settings, and things look pretty good and then the centrals show up. I now have a good handle on the leaks. I have a appointment with a pulmonologist pretty soon. On another thread that I had posted. It was suggested
that maybe I could increase my ps support. IT is at 4 right now. If I did raise it how high should I go. I see it can go all the way to 8. I know my ahi looks good, but I don't feel any better. Maybe it will
just take more time. I'm getting sick of feeling sick all the time.

Re: Good nights and Bad nights
I wouldn't go raising PS if it were me without consulting with a physician since you will be seeing a specialist soon.
Most of your nights every thing looks pretty good so what you are using is working most of the time and we don't know why it isn't working so well the other nights.
I have seen cases where increasing the PS actually makes the instability worse and I wouldn't do it if it were me in this situation.
Your breathing when you have the truckload of centrals looks like Complex Sleep Apnea might look...and were we to see the breath by breath...probably looks CSRish...Cheyenne Stokes Respiration.
If the centrals weren't reducing...and these reports are a big improvement from when we started things...then you might be on the fast track for an ASV machine but with the reduction in number and frequency...maybe it will go away all by itself with a bit more time.
I would feel better if your doctor was involved...that's why they get the big bucks.
I wouldn't change a thing if it were me because the majority of the nights the reports are decent.
