Since the top strap holder is bent out of shape, then the mask probably needs to be replaced.

And if you are tightening the mask so tight that this part is bending out of shape, then you are definitely overtightening the mask. Review the links about how to fit this mask that sludge provided.

I'm still using it about 1.5 hours a night. I wish it wouldn't come off at night

If you wake up and the mask is off, do you put the mask back on before going back to sleep? Or do you just go back to sleep?

Hey you, I saw your machine this morning AND the usage stat and it was only 1.9 hours. A mistype I'd dare say.

They said I have sever case sleep apnea the pressure is set to 23/30 About hour in I wokes feeling chest pain n trouble breathing I thought heart attach as I've had them before. But It's wasn't I was extreme pressure built up in my stomach. From the machine. If I can't figure this out I'll prolly end up not using the machine. Plz any guidance would be welcomed. Also mask leakage. Any ideas of mask that will take that pressure with being smashed in to my face. To point of causing headaches. (-: Thanks in advance mike
Holly Molly, I cannot imagine falling sleep with PAP pressure like 30/23! Was alternative treatment option offered to you since this is so hard to comply!

Mike you probably have what's called aerophagia and it can be helped, however I would wait for someone like Pugsy to answer as she's more familiar with your machine than I am. I would be careful otherwise who you take advice from (e.g.Todzo as she has peculiar ideas).

Actually Sludge was active here so I set it this one out. Too many cooks and all that.
Multiple issues going on here that are apparent if one reads the whole thread.

Julie...I don't think that this one is as simple as a bad case of aerophagia...wish it were. Don't have time to go back and refresh my memory with all that has been mentioned but hours of sleep have always been a big part of the problem here.

Nothing like a drug induced coma (that isn't working particularly well) for getting more than 2 hours of sleep...and Welbutrin is no one's friend if they are having trouble getting to sleep or staying asleep. Could be a damned if you do and damned if you don't situation though. So I really can't comment much except to say research the side effects for those meds.
