gecko nasal pad

Post by veteran » Wed Feb 19, 2014 5:29 pm

Has anyone solved how to keep this nose pad firmly on face when trying to fit mask. I find this pad is comfortable but keeps falling off face when trying to fit mask at night plus if you need to adjust during the middle of the night what a hassle

I used a sample Gecko Nasal pad many months ago.

It worked perfectly for me. Never had the problems you are encountering.

I assume you do know that there is a specific side that should be touching your nose. It is somewhat tacky to avoid the problems you note.

I liked the Gecko, but never got another one.

The few times I have need for a pad, I use a plain band-aid.

I could not use the Gecko (one size fits "all" except me) I gave mine away.
A Band aid helps stop a nascent blister from achieving its potential.
Mask liners (Pad-a-cheek, rem-zzz's) help with comfort and leak control.

When I wear my full face mask, I use the silicone pad. I cut up small strips of bandage tape (so they are ready to go) and it will keep it on.
