Horrible night last night

Post by amybeth » Fri Feb 14, 2014 9:08 am

I had the worst time last night.
Any insight or suggestions? I am frustrated. I woke up feeling leaks quite often.

Same discussion as before...your minimum pressure is allowing too many obstructive events to happen...
leaks that woke you up were probably related to the machine increasing the pressure to try to better prevent the airway collapse.

Do you think you could use 7.5 or 8.0 minimum comfortably?
For sure try 7.0 tonight.

Pattern of clusters is very suspicious for REM Stage sleep...might have some supine sleeping thrown in.

Does your mask normally fit well without many leaks?

Are you using anything like a 'Pap pillow'?

Something might have just shifted the mask sideways though you didn't wake up, and it stayed like that for half the night.

Thanks Pugsy! I had increased my min from 5.0 to 6.0, but will jack that up tonight for sure! At 6.0 I don't even feel anything, feels totally normal. So I think putting it up will be no problem at all.
