backup Seepyhead results on USB flash drive or to second SD?
I have had a few computer glitches recently and wonder if is possible to backup Sleepyhead files to a second SD card or to a USB flash drive directly from Sleepyhead. I would like to save all results so in case the normal SD card from my Respironics machine gets damaged or corrupted. What I read so far seems to pertain only to export to Excel. I checked out Export but wondered how to prepare flash drive to get the correct format or is that unnecessary?

If it were me I would just copy the SleepyHead data folder in MyDocuments to SD card or whatever.
That's where SleepyHead stores all the report data.
If something should happen to a computer then all a person would need to do is install SleepyHead again...it will create another one of the SleepyHead app data folder then all you do is replace that new folder with the copy on the SD card.

And if you don't know where your sleepyhead put your data folder, I can give you commands to find it (PC)
Will help to know if you are using sleepyhead release, beta, or nightly (aka Unstable).

All the Windows SleepyHead version put that folder in MyDocuments. It maybe named something a little different between versions but it's real obvious what it is called.
Have no idea where it is put on a Mac.

I did find the file with no problem and was surprised at the small size. I feel safer having the information in more than one place. Sorry to not respond sooner life keeps interfering.

Dear Islandwoman,
I'm glad you found the files you wanted to back up.
I have a further suggestion for you: back up your SD card too. By saving the original files you can start from scratch if there is ever need to do so. For example, there have been times an update of SleepyHead leads to some folks being advised to start fresh. Or perhaps (ummm... we could wish...) Philips Respironics will come out with some kind of super-advanced Encore version. Having the original files from the SD card would be helpful then.
