Thanks for the additional guidance-

I called the DME office, they said if my mole skin, pad tricks dont work on the Quattro they said they could order me a hybrid or Liberty mask with upcharge?? ( I need to investigate )

I usually wake up once for restroom break during the night lets say 3am, tough getting back in bed, and ramping back to 16 pressure hard to fall asleep

I said I'm an engineer, we have one sleep study with corrected cpap values on me
Last night I did an experiement, what if I dont need straight 16 all night long like MD says, so I went into Clinician Mode, changed setting to Start at 8 press and ramp to 12, far below what doctor prescribed.

at 6am today, I wake up, read my S9 Elite data, it says smiley face good seal, and 0.9 AHI!!!!
(Can Resmed elite machine AHI data be trusted? vs $5,000 sleep center data?)

I called DME, they said for us to take back the elite S9 and give you autoset, we need new Rx, my MD is on travel to Thurs. She was a pitbull 3 weeks agot saying data does not support period..I doubt I can convince her Thurs via phone....

If I get my primary MD or dentist to write me a autoset S9 prescription, going against pulmonary doc #1 Rx , with existing DME aetna rent to own of machine 1(elite s9) could get sticky??????????

thanks Vince

It is not unusual for lab titration to be off, not usually that much, but there you are.
If they are taking back the other mask, an upcharge is not appropriate! Check with your insurance.
