Roger, I didn't ignore you. Sorry. Here are some responses to your suggestions.
Don't know if this would work for you, but have you tried nasal pillow masks, like Swift FX, AirFit P10, Nuance, tap pap, and so on? There are several of these available that don't cover your mouth, only minimal facial contact.
I have tried a few nasal pillow masks. I wasn't a big fan. They seem to hurt my nose more than a mask that just covers the nose. I will continue to try a few different masks if I can't get the two I have to work.
Just a thought...I felt that I wasn't getting enough air when I started on cpap, but that went away when I turned off the ramp.
I haven't been using the ramp feature. I find it annoying. And I have removed the :Ramp 5.5" from my signature.
And I used Ambien for the first week of cpap use to get used to sleeping with all the gear on, that was very helpful, too.
I have a prescription waiting for me for Ambien, just need to wait till payday to get it late next week. My insurance will not cover any sleep drugs.
By the way, here's a clue, listening to the overnight business news is not a good way to prepare yourself for sleep *smile*.
I go to bed without anything on. Perhaps I should listen to some music. I haven't tried that yet.

No worries, I will not give up, and thank you!

Quick question for everyone. IS there any software I can use along with the AD Card that goes in my machine to see how I am sleeping?

I think tonight may be the night I finally get through my mental block!

Sleepyhead. You can find out all you need to know in the Pugsy's Pointers thread at the top section of the main page.
