I have tried a few nasal pillow masks. I wasn't a big fan. They seem to hurt my nose more than a mask that just covers the nose. I will continue to try a few different masks if I can't get the two I have to work.Don't know if this would work for you, but have you tried nasal pillow masks, like Swift FX, AirFit P10, Nuance, tap pap, and so on? There are several of these available that don't cover your mouth, only minimal facial contact.
I haven't been using the ramp feature. I find it annoying. And I have removed the :Ramp 5.5" from my signature.Just a thought...I felt that I wasn't getting enough air when I started on cpap, but that went away when I turned off the ramp.
I have a prescription waiting for me for Ambien, just need to wait till payday to get it late next week. My insurance will not cover any sleep drugs. And I used Ambien for the first week of cpap use to get used to sleeping with all the gear on, that was very helpful, too.
I go to bed without anything on. Perhaps I should listen to some music. I haven't tried that yet.By the way, here's a clue, listening to the overnight business news is not a good way to prepare yourself for sleep *smile*.
No worries, I will not give up, and thank you!
