Is it really clear that it's RO water, and not distilled despite being labeled as "distilled?" I'd really love to see a photo of that label. I guess it's possible the government allows such fraudulent labeling, but I haven't seen a good source showing they do.

It's possible that some water is run through RO first, then distilled. There are several reasons they would do so, but a big reason would be that doing RO first would prevent scale buildup on the boiler part of the still.
