I know this is an old thread but I just found out that a custom adapter isn't need for the Resmed S10.

It looks like the hose from a Swift FX Nano will fit in the hole in an S10 and so the hacked HEPA filter in the plastic container should work great.

If you want to try this at home, I used a Dyson DC-14 Animal filter part number 918633-01 and a 640 ml container from Sistema.

A friend made a metal replacement for the yellow bit and I've put about two years on that filter and washed it a few times and it still looks brand new on the inside to the point of not even swapping it for the spare that I've had for a while. Since the old filters would last a few weeks at most, I figure this thing has saved a fortune on bad filters.
