Re: solo plus by respironics
Hope you didn't pay much for it or verified before you bought it that it was working because it sounds like it needs service and it is way too old to be worth fixing.

How to get to the clinical setup menu...maybe
1. Place the Solo LX device on a readily accessible surface. Plug in the power cord to the wall outlet. Unplug the power cord from the rear of the device.
2. Hold down the "Pressure" and "Ramp" buttons simultaneously while plugging the power cord back into the rear of the device. Release the buttons.
3. Read the current pressure setting on the display. Press the "Ramp" button to increase the pressure setting.
4. Hold down the "On/Off" button when finished and press the "Ramp" button once. Release the "On/Off" button.

That thing dates back to the late 1990s. If you paid ANYTHING for it, you may have paid too much.rknecht132 wrote:I just purchased a used respronics solo Plus cpap machine I plugged it in an green light is on but flashes continuesly but no air comes out I've tryed holding bolth buttons down an on plugging it but still green light flashes an nothing happens can anyone give me advise. When it's plugged in, the green light is supposed to flash several times.
Be sure to check that the voltage selector switch is set to the proper setting.
There is also a fuse tray above the power plug in the back of the machine.
The fuses may be your problem......and they may need to be replaced.
Respironics Solo fuse specs and instructions.
Unplug the Solo unit before changing the fuses. Use only Respironics fuses.
1. Remove the fuse holder by releasing the small tabs on the sides of the holder.
...You may need a small screwdriver to help remove the holder.
2. Replace the old fuses with new fuses
3. Insert the fuse holder back into the Solo and snap into place.
Fuses:
Line voltage:...Fuse type:
115 VAC.........T315 mA, 5 x 20 mm
230 VAV..........T200 mA, 5 x 20 mm
