I expect to replace my BiPAP in the next 2 months. I've restarted CPAP therapy about a year ago (4th attempt in 20 years, very very long story), and my MD just switched me from APAP to BiPAP. My old M-Series BiPAP Auto has a problem with the electrical connection and can lose power. (The DC input is quite snug, but needs to be wiggled to establish electrical contact.)
It seems like a few years have passed since ResMed and Respironics updated" their equipment. Living in the world of always wanting the latest electronic device (cell phone, laptop, etc.), I wanted to ask if anyone has insights on when/if the next generation, "latest & greatest" BiPAP auto will hit the market?
Think of it as the next iPhone of Auto BiPAP... (no ASV required).

Re: Latest & Greatest BiPAP
I recently wrote a very complete review/comparison between the Resmed S9 VPAP Auto and the PR System One Series 60 BiPAP Auto. I talked about every thing I could think of in respect to each machine. You can read the review at: viewtopic/t95311/viewtopic.php?f=1&t=95 ... 04#p880411
As for when the S9 or the Series 60 System Ones will be replaced? I don't think anybody has any hard, reliable information. For what it's worth, the S9 VPAP Auto was introduced sometime in the middle of 2011 (as I recall). The older Series 50 System Ones had been on the market for about a year at that time. The Series 60 BiPAP came out in late 2012 or early 2013 if I recall correctly.
