Please post your pressure in your profile

it's a new year & it's time for a new bump.... this is appropriate for both newbies and veterans

#1 it really is important to know what your pressures are to help with suggestions

#2 it helps to know if the person giving advice has dealt with similar pressures... what works for pressure of 7, may not work or be appropriate for pressures in the uppers teens to 20's.

Knowing the pressure an advice-giver uses would make it easier for readers to determine whether the advice given
might work for them.

To add your pressure to your profile go to:

User Control Panel (just below the cpaptalk.com logo) > Profile > Edit Equipment > Additional Comments

and type away.

You make a good point DD, however one problem with posting our pressures is that both the 'comments' and 'signature' entries in the Profiles section are very limited in the number of text characters you can include ... basically you're allowed a couple of moderately long sentences each. Both those sections in my personal Profile are pretty much full at the moment. This means I'd have to drop something vital like my machine versions, the software I'm using, my backup machine or whatever else thusly allowing me include all of my pressure data - which BTW on my PR autoSV advanced is nearly a FULL PAGE IN ITSELF It'd be great if the Goodmans (our gracious CPAPtalk hosts) could increase our character limits for these two slots, however it's probably not going to happen.

Here's a work-around some folks have used in their 'signature' section' to get around this problem: 1) Type out all the data you want to include, then do a screen save or use Windows snipping tool to capture the image. 2) Put that JPG on whatever image server you use, like Photobucket or Flickr. 3) Copy (Ctrl-V) that URL link into your signature space and Voila

I put mine in the comments and use the signature for my Medicare link.

That's a good tip, for getting URLs listed CF, but what I was describing is a bit different. What I was getting at with my instructions was that an actual picture will show up in your Signature area showing all your data.
