OT: Whine with your first world problem...
Ok this is for us to have a good old whine about our first world problems. Having a good old whinge can be therapeutic.
I'll start;
Couldn't find a park in the shade, so had to park in the blazing sun. Even with the windows half down it was boiling in the car.

Have to wait until 1/28 to see my ENT for a followup visit since he is out all next week. How dare the man take time off.

PS - Decided to order a product costing $5.99 off of CVS.com. They wanted to charge $5.49 for shipping. I may succumb to the extortion eventually but not yet.

First it was too cold and now it is too warm and the snow is all melting and making a mess of the streets! I have to wipe the paws of the dog when we come in.

I have to work Saturday and Sunday. As Sunday happens to be Australia Day most people will be getting blind drunk and cremating meat on BBQ's while I'm selling them said grog and meat.

OK - I got one.
We just got over really cold weather with high winds about a week ago. Big snows three weeks ago.
Then this week Wednesday we got up to almost 60 degrees (F).
The next day Thursday I got up to go get my grandson and it was 4 degrees at 6:30 AM.
What the heck - did the whole of Canada just pass by on the way to Oklahoma???
4 degrees for gosh sakes! Just after nearly 60 degrees. Wind Chill - who knows - Kansas wind blows too fast to calculate (LOL)
I think our mates in Australia are hogging all the heat. I just know it.
Please send some back up here to North America for gosh sakes.
We need some of Al Gore's famous global warming.

Re: OT: Whine with your first world problem...
A year and a half ago we took in two puppies that were dumped near our home. We were not even sure they would live they were in such bad condition. They lived and thrived to the point that you couldn't tell they had ever missed a meal. Lately there has been something in the woods behind the house that keeps the dogs barking at night. One of the dogs was a real scrapper and wasn't afraid of anything. He disappeared and my husband finally found him out in the woods. Something tore him up really bad. I don't have any idea what is living in the woods behind our home, but I hope it moves on. Fortunately the other dogs out here are not as brave and just stay in the yard and bark.

It's close to Zero here in the Garden State of New Jersey after a snow storm, expecting another one tomorrow. Don't have to worry about parking my car because I can't get it out of my garage!!mgaggie wrote:Ok this is for us to have a good old whine about our first world problems.
