Ok. Question... Did they wire your legs on the titration study? Although they should have with your diagnosis, not every study includes that. It's worth mentioning that not everyone's PLMD disrupts their sleep. Some have very small movements without need for treatment. Your report should have included a count and said how many of them caused arousal, if you got the details pages. If daytime symptoms persist, follow-up would be a good idea. If you video yourself it should give you a very good idea. Then you could start with some efforts to help the problem then decide how far to take it.

Hi kteague. Yes they wired my legs during the sleep study. Yes there was a count and how many caused arousals. (Unfortunately I don't have the report handy at the moment.) Thanks for your thoughts.

My ahi was 79, but I only did 2 1/2 hours before moving to the titration phase. I never made it to stage 3 or REM sleep, so it is quite possible that a full night diagnosis study would have produced a higher ahi.

I think it is normal for people with sleep apnea to miss the deep sleep simply because we wake up too frequently to ever get there.

Who would have thought it would be this challenging to sleep and breathe at the same time?
