Respironics Lids

Post by acidragon » Fri Jan 10, 2014 7:20 pm

Why are there two different lids for the water tank for the respironics machine? I understand one lid is for the older model and one for the newer one but they both seem to fit my newer machine. What is the difference? Does the older lid change the sound of the machine since theres a plastic around the center?

Over time manufacturers, attempt to correct shortcomings in their products, I would imagine thry were trying to prevent water from easily going into the xpap, and maybe better control of leaking. Jim

I have a older version "The Tank", it had a new design of water tank.

One lid is for 50 series machines, the other is for 60 series machines.
They are not interchangeable in the humidifier.
