Hybrid mask going away?

Post by LinkC » Thu Jan 09, 2014 7:52 pm

My DME just told me they can't order the Hybrid (Innomed) anymore. He wasn't sure if the problem lies with their main office or with the supplier.

Had anyone else heard that? I have a couple of old-but-usable ones, so I'm good for a year or so, but I'd hate go thru the "mask wars" with another brand/design unless I'm forced to. If it's just this DME (not enough profit, etc) I guess I'll be interviewing DMEs. Sigh.

I have a 'gently used' one if that helps you. I tried but just couldn't get used to this mask. Its a great design, I wish it had worked for me.

I clicked on the mask icon in your profile and CPAP(dot)COM has 1,120 of them in stock, ready to ship. There's no shortage.

I have a brand new one unused and one that was used a week. If you are interested send me a PM with an offer. The used one is free with the purchase of the new one.

Thanks for your kind offers! But I have a couple of shells and 3 cushions in my drawer. I was worried about long term. But it's clear now they CAN get them, but choose not to.

Looks like I'll CHOOSE another DME...
