MyEncore - Error - Unable to access the EncorePro database.

having the exact same problem - with no solution in sight. My Encore Pro has everything in it and lots of reports. My SQL server is running. MyEncore doesn't find the server and database

Sounds like you may have the wrong version.
Which versions of which software are you using?
If you're using 1.5 or 1.6 of Encore Pro, you need this version of MyEncore:

Why and where are all these people getting the old version, someone should do them a favor and remove the outdated link and replace it with the new one. You shouldn't be able to get the old version of MyEncore, so there should be no reason to have the old link up. Jim

I think something is wonky with MyEncore. Mine doesn't work but after upgrading Encore Pro to 1.8. Encore Pro Analyzer works just fine.

No. It was never written for any versions of Encore Pro above the 1.6 version. It also didn't work very well with any of the M Series machines either.
