OT: New Years Eve ~blergh~

Post by mgaggie » Mon Dec 30, 2013 8:53 pm

I have been privileged with honor of working the late shift as supervisor in the supermarket tonight. Aren't I the lucky one? The supermarket is the only liquor store in town so we'll be very busy, insanely busy. Thankfully two of my co-workers are fantastic, the other one ,

I'm hoping there won't be any trouble tonight, not really in the mood for it. Too tired and for the first time in nearly 10 years the pestilence known as acne has decided to breakout on my face.

Oh well, I hope everyone has a happy and safe New Years. If you hear about a supermarket working clocking someone on the head with a six pack in a small country town, you never know..... it could be me!

One good thing about a bad job is we know we get to leave at the end of our shift. Hang in there, and Happy New Year. Ok to watch the countdown on the clock, just don't clock anybody.

I have had to work new years eve too - we had an Inn and had new years eve parties. Bleh people think it is some sort of time that it is ok to do whatever. Then I had to get up early and do breakfast for them, I hope the smell of frying bacon did them in - of course then I had to go and clean up.... If anyone ever has a fantasy of running a B&B think twice - it is mostly about cleaning toilets and laundry and making beds.
