I'm sitting in a chair trying an initial dry run fitting of the subject mask.
Would appreciate input from users.
I used the 'nostril gauge' & it suggested I was an S/M insert.
However, when I tried that I found the inside of the insert felt as though it was leaning on my nostrils & I wasn't thrilled about that..
So I have gone to large.
Only issue at the moment while I fiddle with strap tension is that I can feel the silicone headgear pressing pretty solidly across my cheekbones.
Can I take some of that pressure off with the straps?
The upper or lower set?
Or do I just have a fat face & am stuck with it??
The silicone headgear is fairly thick & not too much give in it.
Does it soften up with time??
PS - For some reason the dog was quite p-d with my facial adornment & barked at me for awhile.

I had the same cheek pressure as you--the silicone and whatever plastic is inside does NOT seem to soften up with time.95C4 wrote: . . . while I fiddle with strap tension is that I can feel the silicone headgear pressing pretty solidly across my cheekbones.

The straps did not seem to help.
I was able to use my hands to bend a very gentle curve in that section--VERY carefully (I was afraid it would break)
Sadly, the manufacturer does not condone customization (it voids the warranty)
They also make the frames in only ONE size. (that does NOT "fit all")

Chunky - if you go to the Sponsors website & look at the very bottom of the listing for the Wisp you will see they say the silicone unit comes in "Original" & "Large". Youshould go for Large if your collar size is greater than 17" & you have to order Large separately, it appears.
