Remstar Plus c-flex....

Post by SEM » Thu Dec 19, 2013 4:21 pm

I have a question..... I got my Cpap machine today and plugged it in. The screen ran its normal run and now I want to turn it off......every time I hit the turn off button it starts the machine blowing.......do I have to turn the machine off or does it lie dormant till I use it the next night?

It is dormant until you use it again. To turn it totally off you have to unplug it from power source.
It doesn't hurt it to leave it in "dormant" stage though.

The only way to turn it (completely) "OFF" is to unplug it (or plug it into a surge protector that has an on/off switch).
Otherwise it sits there waiting to deliver therapy air to you when you sleep.
The "On/Off" button is to start and stop it from blowing air.

It's still a good idea to plug them into a good surge protector.
