Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
I have this machine and love it so far but I am new. 6 months last week. I use the free Sleepyhead software that has a lot of information. Jedimark on the forum here created it and it is a must for your journey with sleep apnea. If you look a Pugsy's links you will find it there. By the way you will learn a lot if you read Pugsy's tutorials. She is amazing at helping people. Thank you Pugsy for all you do for us. My 6 moths would not have gone as well as it has with your help.

2 ways...the 3 digit model number on the bottom of the blower..may have DS or REF in front of the 3 numbers.Ruinednose wrote: How do i find out what Versiion it is (50,60) ect?
last 2 digits...50 or 60 will tell what model series it is. 650/660fixed BiPap Pro and 750/760 for the BiPap Auto
second way...look closely at the face plate...the 50 series face plate is a light silver gray and the 60 series is a very dark gray.
60 series

50 series..in the image it looks almost white but it is really a light silver/gray

Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
Yes it does
Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
If you don't see any RERAs on a SleepyHead report on that top event graph then it means you didn't have any.
So yes, SleepyHead will show them if you had them.
The events graph top right won't list a category if there were 0 events in that category.
Here's an example where I had everything but RERA (shows as RE on the events graph) and below it an example where I had 1 RERA.. you can't see it real well on the screenshot due to the color is such faint yellow but it occurred at roughly 30 minutes before the 0:1:00 time marker. I never have very many RERAs unless I have a really bad night from issues unrelated to OSA or therapy.

Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
I have SleepyHead information and download links in my signature line...just follow the links.
Yes, it is just as accurate as the Respironic software which has several versions...Encore Viewer (you would need 2.1 version with the 60 series machine) and Encore Basic or Encore Pro 2.12 .
I have both and the reports always match except for minor rounding up or down of the numbers.. Encore goes only to tenths and SH goes to next decimal past tenths.

Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
Yes, that's the correct version of SleepyHead.
For information on how to understand what you are seeing on the reports take a look at the tutorial thread.
understanding your data viewtopic/t88983/Pugsys-PointersSleepyH ... nding.html
I covered the basics in general layman's terms.
Encore software shows the same data but presented visually a little differently. SleepyHead is much easier to manage but I will send you a link for Encore information in just a bit.
EncoreGuide link this will show you examples of what you will see. For a different machine than yours but the basics are the same.
http://www.healthcare.philips.com/pwc_h ... _Guide.pdf
Also if you will get the clinical manual for your machine it has more information about the terminology. Go to this link and request a copy of it if you didn't get one with the machine..provider manuals are often removed before machines are given to the patient.

Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
I believe i have the sytem one version 50
THat makes me kinda of mad , why didn't the DME sell me the 60 version.
This thing cost me 1300 out of pocket and i was hoping to at least get the most modern version..

Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
It said 750p on bottom
Re: Just got a PR System one Bipap
The differences between the 750 and 760 are minor.
The 760 has the heated hose, the ability to turn off the beep when the machine starts and Pressure Support has a minimum and maximum setting ability where with the 750 the minimum is a 2 cm default and then max PS when in auto mode.
The heated hose is nice but not everyone even needs it or wants it.
Your machine choice isn't showing up in your profile..likely because the link is broken so you might just add PR S1 BiPap Auto #750...so that we know without having to ask.
