For some unknown reason this morning after I had imported data from my Respironics SD card, closed it and reopened it selecting my wife's user name and importing data from her Resmed SD card, somehow our user names are switched - her data shows up under my user name and vice versa.
I have reinstalled Sleepyhead with no results. I tried closing it, reopening it and reimporting both sets of data with no change,
I haven't yet uninstalled and reinstalled the program because I think that might cause me to lose the several years of my data but that is my next step. My wife just started CPAP a month or so ago so has little data built up.
Any suggestions?

Once the data has become mixed...I don't know what you can do about it without losing the past data.
The selected date purge feature doesn't always want to work well but you might try it. Seems to cause my computer to freeze and prematurely close SH.
Your data is actually stored in a special folder in your MyDocuments folder...even if you were to reinstall SleepyHead unless you removed that special folder (it will contain both profiles) the data itself in those reports is untouched by the uninstall of SleepyHead...to totally remove the old stuff you have to remove that folder in MyDocuments.
What I would do if it were me...I would create another user profile for yourself...your Respironics card should have everything you need on it...import to that new profile...confirm that everything is as you want it and then go to your MyDocuments folder and the SleepyHeadData folder...then in profile folder remove the old profile with the mixed data.
You can try the same thing with wife's SD card.
If you don't have all the files or reports that you want...just leave those old profiles alone but continue to use the new profile for further downloads.
You can try an uninstall but without removing that SleepyHeadData folder (or the profiles) the new install won't change anything.
All the above assumes you are using Windows. If you are using a Mac I don't know where SH puts that main folder that is safe from the uninstall procedure.
Another than annoying...there's no reason you can't have 2 profiles for yourself or your wife in SleepyHead. Just have to make sure that you don't import from the wrong card again.

Re: Sleepyhead user name switched
Thanks Pugsy, I will try your suggestions tomorrow.
I had considered creating a new profile but as I said I was afraid I would end up losing the last three years of data.
I took a look at the purge function when my wifes data was loaded (with my user name) and when it asked me if I really wanted to purge all the Respironics machine data I said no. I was hoping by purging the small amount of Resmed machine data my wife has it would clear the problem. Then when I tried to use the purge function again it doesn't do anything.
I may go to the data folder and rename the folders then create some new profiles and then try to reread the cards and see what happens.

Re: Sleepyhead user name switched
I seem to have a solution .
This morning I looked at the two profile files (mine and my wife's) and could see where the data switch occurred.
Rather than mess with the files - they are lengthy and I thought I might miss something - I renamed them (Messed up - My/Her Name) and replaced mine with files from a back up I run often. For some reason her profile file was not in the back up so I created a new profile for her and imported her data. That did the trick and I am back in business.
I will have to investigate why her profile was missing from the backup.
I moved the renamed files to another (new) folder since they still showed up in the start-up box. I am not sure why I kept them but I did.
I am not sure what caused the data corruption.
A couple of possibilities :
I may have inadvertently had two Sleepyhead instances open at the same time. If so Sleepy Head may have become confused.
Also when I use the Switch Users function a box has been popping up that says Sleepy Head has stopped working. There is a Close Program box to click and I may have clicked the X to kill the pop up box instead then clicked on my wife's profile.
From now on I will make sure that only one instance is open and close it, reopen it, then click on my wife's profile.
