Phillips Respironics CPAP

Post by olehippy13 » Tue Nov 26, 2013 3:09 pm

Is this a good CPAP machine, in anyones' opinion......Phillips Respironics CPAP.

I used to have a cpap with a huge water connector deal.....then the VA gave me this particular one. I like this one, it's compact and all together. I sleep very well using it also.

I went today to the VA and had them check the card and got all sorts of info back.

Date of Range....Days with Device Usage,...Average time in large leak per day....Average AHI CPAP pressure.....and it all seems to be in good standings.

I've used a cpap since around 2004. I have been diagnosed with PTSD , and Sleep Apnea. Since VietNam, I had only gotten about 4 hours of sleep up unitl about maybe two months ago......(I got back from Nam in 72).......and now I sleep atotal of 6 1/2 hours a night.....I feel much better.

I just stumbled on to this web site......seems pretty good.

Yes, it's a good machine.
If you turn the machine over and look on the bottom of the blower unit (remove water tank first) there will be a little sticker on it with a 3 digit model number. Probably preceded by DS or REF.
Sounds like you have either a 550 or 560 model since you mention average pressure...but it might be a 450/460 model.
There is software available so you can see even more information. Check out the links in my signature for information on the software.

I am using it's big brother...the PR (Phillips Respironics) System One Auto BiPap model 760. Great machine.
