I've been successfully daily downloading data to SleepyHead (and ResScan) on my Windows 7 64-bit computer for more than a year. In preparation for moving to a newer Windows 7 64-bit computer I recently installed both the programs on it and began downloading daily data from the SD card.
All of the historical data seems to be okay, except SleepyHead's Usage. It shows a couple of weeks in September where the usage each day was almost 24 hours. Then beginning in late October, it started showing daily usage as about 7 hours. The rest of the usage times for last year and this are about 14 hours daily.
All this data appears correctly on the old computer.
What should I do? Just uninstall the program and delete all the data. Then reinstall SleepyHead on the new computer and download from the SD card again?

Re: SleepyHead showing strange usage hours
Which version and build date did you just install on the new computer?
To find build date open SleepyHead and go to Help section then "About SleepyHead".
Sounds like the old double session bug but the new build should have fixed that issue.
There is a way of turning off the extra sessions causing the extra hour calculation errors though...just go to each day in question and turn off the extra sessions...let me know if you need to try that.

Re: SleepyHead showing strange usage hours
Pugsy, I have build date Jan 10 2012 21:13:28. Each time I bring up SleepyHead, it wants to update, but when it tries to, at the end is says it had an unzip problem and the update was unsuccessful.
Sounds like the best option is just uninstall the whole application and start over again. Or should I look to see if I have an unzip utility on this new computer?

Re: SleepyHead showing strange usage hours
Download and install version 0.9.3 build date May 2013. Just try to install it over the existing version...see if it will work the easy way first. Or you can install it as a totally separate SH version...I have 3 different versions installed right now.
I can tell you how to fix the failed update but the updated version still has the double session bug so it's best to just get the newest version which includes the bug fix and contains the update that your computer is blocking....to get the update to work instead of double clicking mouse to open SleepyHead ...right click the mouse and choose "run as administrator" from the menu that pops up.
Then the update will work...but I don't think it will fix the double session issues because I had the same issues until I got this latest version.
