Respironics Encore Software

Post by Dogmeat » Mon May 22, 2006 2:59 pm

I’ve been using a Remstar Auto for about two years now and when I first got the machine I looked into the software to read the smart card date. It was over $300 at the time and since I would have had to pay that out of pocket, I simply dropped the idea.

I now notice the most recent Respironics Encore software can be bought for $100! I tend to be the kind of person who looks the gift horse in the mouth. What has happened to cut the price by 2/3rds in the last year?

The law of "Supply and Demand", maybe?

Profit! CPAP.com has it ready to go for $199, or the software for $100 and get your own card reader from 2Factors site for $30+ delivered. The hardware is the same, that just leaves the greed factor.

Use data to optimize your xPAP treatment!
