Well back in May I requested a new SleepWeaver Élan mask. After numerous reactions, refusals and battles my new mask arrived yesterday. The old one was almost 2 years old. What a pleasant difference the new one made.
For all those who accept "it can't be done" well I am here to tell you it can be done. Once you KNOW what you want/need don't give up. I talked to two VPs at Crapria and the medical director at the medical group my doc belongs to as well as the insurance company. Many of the contacts recognize my voice on the phone from frequent calls to check or prod the progress.
Crapria finally sent my SleepWeaver mask

Re: Crapria finally sent my SleepWeaver mask
I had trouble with Apria getting me a replacement S9 ClimateLine MAX hose (a special high pressure heated hose). It took a month of 'back and forth' calls and pressure but finally one of the managers special ordered it from somewhere and it showed up at my regional warehouse. Then there was some delay for another week but finally after one last call to them, it came in the mail. With a lot of services like DMEs, it seems persistence is the key... the squeaky wheel theory put into practice .bwexler wrote:Well back in May I requested a new SleepWeaver Élan mask. I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.
