Sleepyhead Question

Post by howkim » Tue Nov 12, 2013 4:02 pm

I just realized that the area in the Sleepyhead report that is supposed to show pressures is blank. I do use an auto machine, but don't know if that would make a difference. Any comments or suggestions?

If the pressure graph is checked and still no pressure graph..
what SleepyHead version are you using..Windows 0.9.3 or the Mac version?
If the Windows version go to Preferences..Appearance tab and remove check mark from "use pixmap caching" and restart SH ...see if that helps.

Thanks for the suggestions, Guys.

Darco, unchecking the "pressure" box just takes the pressure display off. I'd kinda like to see those data.

Pugsy, I'm using the Windows v. 0.9.3. I tried your suggestion, logged off the program, shut down the computer and rebooted. No changes in the display. Any other suggestions?

I think there might be a glitch with the 60 series importer in SleepyHead...
What model number is your machine? (usually something along the lines of _60P)

I really wish Philips Respironics would bother to release some documentation on their data formats

Oh sorry, meant to say uncheck/check...

Sent you a PM. If you can get me a copy of the contents of your SD card I can check my SleepyHead versions to see if I am getting the same thing you are getting.

Right now I am using a 760 machine 0.9.3 SH along with the unstable 9.4 and I am getting the pressure graphs just fine.
A while back I did have an issue with it reporting the pressures wrong but that was fixed by unchecking the pixmap caching thing...doing that also seems to fix other issues. I was hoping we would get lucky and it would fix your problem too..but it didn't.

Ok, I'm running a 560P machine. I’m sorry, Pugsy, but I don’t know which data file to copy for you or where to find it. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

It's simpler to copy the main folder...first folder in the SD card which is called the PSeries folder.
Go to that folder....highlight it....right click mouse...choose "copy" from the menu that pops up....then move your mouse cursor over to your desktop on an empty spot and right click mouse...choose "paste" and the copy of that folder (which contains all the other folders and files) will show up on your desktop.

Then send me an email and attach that folder just like you would a photo or other file.

Then I get it and put it on a SD card and use it like I would use my SD card.

If you start trying to pick and choose files and folders then it gets complicated and often we miss something....so just copy the main folder and that keeps everything in order and makes for easy use. If you had 6 months of use we might need to zip it to make it small enough to attach but try it without compressing/zipping first.
