Slightly pre heating humidifier H2O?
Slightly pre heating humidifier H2O?
I am finding that the cold blast when I first turn my machine on at night is a bit strange. I was wondering if any of you has ever nuked your H2O for like say 30 seconds to get it in the 80/90 deg. F or just let the machine do all the heating.

Re: Slightly pre heating humidifier H2O?
I would heat it in a glass and not in your humidifier chamber and take it's temperature before adding it. But heating it up to the maximum operating temperature for your machine should be safe. Maximum operating temperature for ResMed machines is stated in the Info Guide as 95 degrees F. Read specs on your machine and find that temperature.
If that is all it takes to make your machine more comfortable for you, I would go for it.
