I have it - it's a tiny program (at least my Mac version) that does adjust the lighting for nighttime, but it's not a big deal, just a nice little feature you can play with and does do the job as advertised.

I've been using f.lux on my Mac desktop for some time now. It works seamlessly and took only a few days to get used to the nighttime effect. I think it has helped my sleep since I am at the computer quite a bit in the evening. Happy to answer any other questions you have about it.

Has anyone (else but me) used the AccessMenuBarIcons program? It's another fun one to play with (but also functional and made for Mac).

Did you have to jailbreak your iPad?
