unable to Search this site

Post by surf_rower » Sat Nov 02, 2013 7:56 am

I know there are posts about the Tap Pap, in fact I see one on the board now. But when I search to see all posts about the Tap Pap, it returns 0. I've tried various ways to enter it, and have tried Advanced Search. Is the Search feature just not working right now, or is my brain not working?

The forum search function has problems with 3 letter (or less) words. So it isn't you if that helps any.
Even if 2 words are used that total 6 letters...like Tap Pap. Now if you run tappap together you will have some luck but still miss out on some stuff.

There is a big thread for the TapPap ..Tap Pap...putting tappap running together here so it will come up in future searches
viewtopic.php?f=1&t=87232&st=0&sk=t&sd= ... Mouthguard
Which is what we talked about when it first came out.
There may be a few others but this one is the main one and pretty much everything good and bad is mentioned here.

Try using Google instead of the cpaptalk search box. Just precede your search terms with the site name, like this:

Site:cpaptalk.com tappap

Lots of threads pop up.

Even without specifying this site, Google usually brings you right back here.

It still works...just not when the words have 3 letters or less.

Or if there are more than 2 words.
No biggie; if it's here, Uncle Goog sends us right back home.

Thanks all, I'll go with Uncle Goog in the future.
Nan, your post "tappap – one word" reminds me of a funny Canadian sitcom we just started watching, Corner Gas. Anyone who watches that will know what I mean!
