I am going to live my life a happy person. Sometime I fail but I remind myself how blessed I am and start over.

I'm spoiled for that little hint of fragrance.
I only notice it when I first mask up, but if it fades, I do miss it.

Any change is also usually sabotaged by your friends and family. They have invested a lot of time and energy in the old you and they don't want to bother rethinking the relationship.

From the article...When both partners were on board with a weight-loss plan, they felt closer. But if one person resisted, their bond suffered.

Am I seeing things too simply? Shouldn't both partners should just get on board?

Yes they should but from my personal experience one will often feel more compelled by the need to work out/ eat properly then the other. Getting dragged out of bed at 5:30 am to go running was not my favourite thing at one point in a relationship I had and yet 20 years later I was the one doing it - anything to try and deal with menopausal symptoms.

With children in thier late teens you have only your good example left in terms of ways to help them develope and move on to better things.

I have seen loved ones go bad. I have seen loved ones move on to better things.

I hope I get much better at helping all to move on to better things.
