For tongue sufferers

I think I've hit on something. I recently found the Sleep Right dental guard online at Amazon, ordered it and been using it. It prevents me from clenching down in my sleep, which results in an overbite and restricts my large tongue to even less space thereby making it easier to fall back in my throat and block my airway.

The Sleep Right is tons move comfortable than the Den Tek, I slept completely thru till morning with it and with the Den Tek I wake up numerous times with the sides of my cheeks either in pain or me chewing on the Dentek and moving it around in my mouth. Once the Sleep Right "warms" up in my mouth (read the product review), I find my tongue is gently cushioned to the roof of my palet, thereby holding it in place, if that makes sense. Also, and this is big, I got no aerophagia--and I usually get this with the Dentek because my tongue cannot stay plastered to the roof of my mouth behind my teeth. But the Sleep Right is so soft, it seems to mold around everything.

I do have to tape my mouth with Blue Painter's tape for sensitive skin in order to make sure my lips stay together. I used the regular Sleep Right and have also ordered the slim and Dura versions to see how those fare. I'm so excited I can't stand it. I hardly have any obstructives at all now. Pressure right now is at 13.5 with CFlex+ at 1. I'm back in the saddle. Hope this info helps others who have this hellish problem with their tongue. Peace out!
