Duh... all they would see is how many hours you used it each night. And the answer to any problem that might be presented to the DME would be "give it time".

" I don't feel any better" .....give it time
" I can't sleep"......give it time
" I don't like the mask"...give it time
" I still wake up with headaches"....give it time
" My mask leaks"....give it time

By then I would be ready to tell the DME to give it time where the sun don't shine.

You said it. I was told "you'll know it's working because you won't be so tired, won't have the daytime sleepiness and your blood pressure will improve.

BTW the report shows my AHI was 34 so at least I know it's working.

Also says I used a small Resmed Mirage FX yet I have no recollection whatsoever of feeling like I was suffocating. Maybe I should try it.
We cannot direct the wind, but we can adjust the sails!

The 7 cm setting doesn't appear to be high enough to do a good job preventing the airway tissues from collapsing.
Or you might try a small tight range...like 7.5 minimum and 9 or 10 maximum. See what the machine wants to do.
Yay! I changed my pressure to min 7 max 9 (maybe I should've made max 10) and here are my stat details:

AHI 3.11 (Hypopnea 2.43 / Obstructive .027 / Clear Airway 0.41)
RERA 0.54
Flow Limit 0.81
Hours 7.23
VSnore 0.00
Ave Pressure 7
95% Pressure 9
Ave Total Leaks 25.01
95% Total Leaks 34

I love being able to see all this information and being pro-active in my therapy. Damn those DME's
