Happy Birthday Jerry.
I think I am going to send my alien friends over to poke holes in your hose because I still remember how envious I was over your leak line.

Happy Birthday, Jerry!!!

I mailed your present on Sunday. And Monday was a holiday. So if it's not there today, you can just celebrate when it comes.

BTW, Pugsy, I poked holes in all of the NAII parts I sent Jerry. Just to make you happy.

LOL,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate it. Pugsy, I have not had another of those leak lines in a while. I think the boogers may be hiding under my bed, but I don't think they are your aliens. They have a different look. I have a good supply of Super Glue and Duct Tape for the repairs. Appreciate it Babs.

Jerry

I doubt they are my aliens either. Mine always like to hang around close to home so that they can mess with me every chance they can get and last night they had a great chance since I was experimenting again. Man o man...big ugly leak line but still not into large leak. Woke me up a gazillion times though. My sorry butt is dragging today.

I still remember that beautiful leak line you posted back when I was a newbie. It was awesome pretty. Did you know that I tried the Nasal Aire II prongs just because of it? Alas, I didn't have the luck that you have with that mask. I ended up being an in between size in the prongs. One size was too small and the next size was too large and hurt like the devil when inflated so I had to abandon that mask. I think I sent you all my excess stuff a while back.

It's frustrating to get a pretty leak line like that and not have it duplicated very often. Over the years I have had maybe a handful like that where I nearly break my arm patting myself on the back. I have come to realize that the aliens just like to mess with us at least once a night so that we don't get those "perfect" leak lines often. I have also come to realize that unless the leaks wake me up a lot that I don't really notice any difference in how I feel so I don't worry about those less than perfect leak lines.

I do hope you have a good birthday and wish you many, many more.

Pugsy, if it helps you any, Jerry is a freak of nature.

I've worn the NAII for 6 years and never gotten my leak line completely flat, nor gotten my AHI below 2.1.

For awhile now I've suspected that Jerry doesn't even have sleep apnea, and he just photoshops those charts to mess with the rest of us.

LOL,
B.

The NAII is not an easy mask to get used to. I found that generally if you can use the smaller size it will lose some of the stiffness after a bit and then it will blow out to a good seal without making the nose sore. The only people that really can't use it are people that the nares are different size. After some use it will dilate the nares to the next size or even two.

I wish! I have been down with a Flu type Virus, you don't want me to send the leak line for this time. I switched over to my old FFM for part of one night. Remembered why I changed. Never did figure out why Babette can't get her AHI below 2.1. I remember running her pressure all over the board without any success. Maybe she is the strange one.

I am an Alien. I thought you knew that?

Well, glad you got sick BEFORE I sent a box of parts to you. Though I did take extra care to wash and disinfect real well before sending them. Even the new ones. Though I didn't wash the headgear. DOH!

Hope the birthday fairy brings you some cake.
B.
