DIY on the machine

Post by andy5805 » Fri Oct 11, 2013 2:32 pm

In an effort to increase my compliance I've gone DIY on the machine and its surroundings. I feel accomplished in what I've done, but i'd feel more accomplished if, when I put the mask on tonight, it's there the next day. I'd feel elated as well as accomplished if all the above happened, and I also felt rested and not exhausted.

- I've put up a shelf behind the bed and mounted the machine there - have put some bolts through to secure the machine to the shelf so if I wake up and lunge forward (unlikely) the tube gets it not the machine , put a "O" shaped hoop through the top of the headboard to let the tube through and fed it through. It's now almost convenient to get in bed and get therapy and there's no chance i'll roll onto the tube. I'll also be able to move around a lot more. Perfect setup I think . Now I've just got to comply!!!!

What's the craziest thing anyone on here has built around their machine to make it easier for them, or just because they were bored!

all best
Andy

If the shelf you built is higher than your head you may have a problem with rainout. Condensation that forms in the hose will run down to your mask. Usually it is recommended that the machine be lower than your head/mattress so any condensation runs back to the humidifier tank.
