I'm fine, thanks very much.

But after a review of your posts, it's pretty obvious you ARE an asshole.
Well thank you for stopping by and reviewing my posts. Also thank you for delivering your very insightful critique.
I think the avatar you have is quite telling ... you appear to be hiding behind a costume. Would this be a drive-by attack? I will admit I am guilty of doing that to another forum. It didn't help so I stopped. Is this retaliation?

I won't put words in everyone's mouth, but I believe the vast majority here believe we are NOT practicing medicine. We are sharing our knowledge freely. I can't believe how many people are given a simple brick of a CPAP machine and sent on their way with little regard to anything but whether they are compliant. They're trying! They can't get to sleep, or they can and still feel awful so why bother? Well we try very hard to help those people find a cause so they can continue with therapy. I believe we expect that person to ALSO be working with their extended medical team, of which they need to be a part. Anyone, doctor, patient, whatever, deserves the ability to be able to learn as much as possible about any of their medical conditions, therapy, and treatment. How can that be wrong?

Would it be practicing medicine to suggest that you take a couple of Tylenol for that pounding headache you have right about now?

At the bottom of every page:
The information provided on this site is not intended nor recommended as a substitute for professional medical advice.
But if you seriously want printed validation of the benefits of patients helping patients sift information in order to be active participants in their own medical teams, even when it comes to the most serious of disease states, you may want to start with the studies that have been done on such matters, such as the one containing the following statement:
"Finding relevant disease-related information helped informants to participate in their own self-care. As a result, treatment options and decisions could be made more efficiently to meet their specific needs."--http://ons.metapress.com/content/c213l8 ... lltext.pdf
My nonmedical diagnosis of you is that you are a troll. But hey, some of my best friends are trolls, so I won't hold that against you. I love talking to trolls. It gives me a platform to state the obvious and solidifies my focus in what I do here.

Thanks for stopping by. It always helps to unite the board whenever it is attacked, no matter how silly or irrelevant the attack.

If you truly feel something illegal is occurring on this board, though, I suggest that your only recourse is to report us all immediately to the proper authorities. If you have not done so yet, why are you wasting your time implying that is what should be done by someone else?

Good day to you, Sir.

Is it me, or does it seem the quality of troll has dropped off considerably lately?

Were they part of the shutdown?

Are these Replacement Trolls?

Boy, I tell ya, one good whack and they like disintegrate.

My understanding is that troll-defunding is going to be phased in over the next several years, at which point all troll-bridges will be subjected to a federal troll-tax penalty.

As long as they keep making troll-house cookies, I'll be happy.

Dori, have you put all the real trolls in time out? Is that what happened?

I suggest that Mr Concerned should be, not just concerned, but afraid, VERY afraid, if Dori is in a bad mood.

* slinks away quietly to keep from getting whacked by Dori or Nan . . . *

Did someone say "cookies"?

I don't mind the whack threats. It was the threat to put me in time out that scared me. I mean, ME? be quiet in a corner? That would REALLY hurt!

And I agree that anyone who manages to get sweet Dori in a bad mood had better be afraid of more than just Dori. She's got a whole board to form a posse for her!

Obviously, "Mr. Concerned" has gone home.
I shudder to think he/she might be a tech in a sleep lab--probably not!
It obviously knows NOTHING about OSA or the treatment details and difficulties so many here have had to deal with.
Somebody should be concerned about unemployment, should the boss walk in and discover somebody goofing off on the Internet.

Hey Nan, that was YOU!! In the old days we really had some bad boys here and someone had to take charge so as an elder I elected myself. The "boys" today are amateurs! @Jeff, I like your new avatar! You're cute!

Thanks for noticing the avatar, Dori.

I thought that if I posted my ugly mug, maybe the other kids here in the playground would feel sorry for me and treat me better.
