Luggage suggestion please

Post by camman595 » Mon Oct 07, 2013 8:38 am

I would like to get suggestions for a rolling garment bag that some of you my currently use. I do most of my traveling in the car so I am not as worried about how much abuse the bag can handle. Do any of you use a rolling garment bag that has enough space to put your CPAP bag inside? I use a S9 and would like to put it inside of my other bag so that I only pull one piece of luggage. I frequently travel with one suit and the rest are casual clothes. Any suggestions?

One big bag is harder to get into the car.
Once there, it is harder to get at an item you need--NOW.
I use the bag that came with my machine, and put most everything in a rolling vertical bag.
I keep it light, as I plan to shop!

The bag for the S9 has a strap across the back. You can slide it down over the extended handle of your luggage when you are walking with it.

There is a velcro square in the middle of the strap that you can press down between the arms of the garment bag's handle that will keep it steady.

Obviously, the arms of the luggage handle have to be long enough for this to work.

Thats exactly what I do with my PRS1 with their travel bag over the extended handle on my roller luggage

Since I don't trust the way people shove things into the overhead compartments on airplanes, AND I have a Loadmeister husband to manages to put more gear into the car than would seem reasonable, I wanted a sturdy case for my Beastie.

So, I use this Lowe's rolling camera case:

John, one of our members, has recommended this case which might fit your bill, since it has a compartment for the xPAP and a compartment for clothing.

I agree. It's better when car travelling to carry several smaller bags. I have a small rolling bag that I put my CPAP in when I'm flying, but when I'm in a car, I just carry the machine's bag and either carry it over my shoulder, or slip it over the pull up handle of another bag.

I've recently been converted to the thrill of the 4 wheel drive luggage. It IS much easier to deal with than just the two wheeled variety, particularly if you pack it heavy. I buy luggage very economically at Ross, Marshall's, TJ Maxx and Burlington Coat Factory.

Cheers,
B.

I currently have a stash of Nasal Aire II cannulas in Small or Extra Small. Please PM me if you would like them. I'm interested in bartering for something strange and wonderful that I don't currently own. Or a Large size NAII cannula. :)
