I’ve been on CPAP for a year now ever since I’ve been on it I’ve had severe lower back pain...
I had intense pain in lower back starting a year or so into my hosehood  . I could not tolerate single pressure and got an APAP machine setting maximum exhale relief. Sleep doc, good guy, advised on setting the pressure range. Trialed an APAP over a holiday weekend (got 4 nights) and had a less pain so switched, insurance would not pay for the swap so I bought it myself...that was in 2009. Good luck getting this resolved, took me several weeks.

I have had exactly the same intense lower backpack. It end up waking me up after about 4 ours of sleep. I too have a good bed and have never experienced anything like this until I started using the CPAP about a month ago. I am at my wits end as Tylenol and Advil hardly touch it.

You should mention pain that wakes you up at night specifically to your doctor.

Don’t delay.

Betting that it’s nothing but if it’s something, don’t wait.

It might help if you shared what machine and settings are being used.
If you read Muse-inc's post a bit above yours, it is apparent that a range of pressures
instead of a single pressure can be a solution.
Physical therapy might also help.
