Contacted the doctor and he assures me the meds will have no effect on the apnea treatment.
Still not going to take the stress tabs, yet!

I use Salex Sinus rinse, every second night.

Hi alexchetty,

That is excellent to hear. I would stay the course for one more night and if your good fortune continues, I would consider turning the smart flex feature off since in many cases, it can elevate the AHI.

Hi alexhcetty,

Glad to hear about your good reports, particularly that you're hot having a headache, nausea or dizziness.

Not sure how you want to proceed. On the one hand, if you're feeling awake and fresh, it seems it might be wise to stay the course, even with an AHI of 7 because of the point that if this was another machine such as a resmed autoset9, your AHI would probably be within limits. If things continue to go well, perhaps reevaluate after two weeks to 30 days.

On the other hand, if you wanted to see if you could get the AHI lower, perhaps try turning off the Smart Flex Feature to see if that would help, particularly since your pressure is already low. You could even experiment with this while awake to get a sense of whether this would be comfortable during sleep.

If you feel you need the Smart Flex, you could try raising the minimum pressure from 7.5 to 8 if you were interested in lowering the AHI.

It is really your call.

Feeling tired and nauseous.
Went to Doc on Saturday, Dr gave me some nausea pills but they don't seem to be working (Mitil [1tab 3xdaily]).
Going to contact him today again (must be something else wrong).

Hi Alex,

I am so sorry to hear that.

Earlier in the thread, you had mentioned having some type of sinus issues and I was wondering if that had something do with it. Then again, nausea could be a symptom of anything.

I hope you feel better quickly.

Hi Alex,

What did the doctor say? I am glad your nausea is gone but in the past, it has disappeared only to return.

Did you ever experiment with turning the Smart Flex Feature off as in some cases, that can raise AHI?

Also, is your current pressure range 7-17 or 7.5-17? Wasn't sure based on your previous posts.
