In case you have overdosed on politics (Obamacare), want to start a discussion of this?

There wouldn't have been a show if he had lived in Canada - universal health care!

OMG it was SOOOOOOO awesome yesterday!!!!!!

I do think they should have kept it going. Alas, they could do a lot of these types of shows, like Mad Men, with far more episodes throughout the series, drawn out for far more years.

So sad its over

Never watched it.
Maybe we will rent it some long, snowy weekend.

Not totally over. There's going to be a spinoff with Saul Goodman in the days before WW.

Speaking of Saul, I was sorry to see he didn't make it into the finale. Most of the main characters did, even the dead ones.

Watching it all in one shot would be interesting. Seeing the character transition from a depressed teacher dying of cancer, to becoming a confident and proud drug manufacturer is great. Though, I kind of miss the first carefree season or two before things got messy. One of my favorite moments in the entire season was his final conversation with his wife.
"Don't you tell me one more time that you did this for us.."
"I did this for me."

He found one thing he was great at, and enjoyed. It's just unfortunate that it had to be making meth.

Changing the Subject

Why the heck did those police not start shooting her tires out when they were right up against her car at the barricade in the very beginning of this clip?

From what I've read, police aren't allowed to shoot out the tires, because the vehicle may not stop or become uncontrollable... Seems to me a dead/dying driver would do the same though

I watched all 5 seasons from start to finish in the span of 1 1/2 weeks. An extraordinary experience! I can't imagine how frustrating it would have been to watch one episode per week (with commercials!). If you have the time, you need to see it commercial-free, one episode after another.

Yes. Netflix has all the episodes from seasons 1-4, and the first 8 episodes from the season 5 (16 episodes in total). The next 4 episodes I had to purchase through Amazon's video service. Then I got the next 3 episodes through video on demand. For the final episode, I had to go back to Amazon. Whew! A lot of work . . . but worth it.
