Best CPAP Battery for machine and humidifier

Post by Guest » Tue Sep 24, 2013 1:10 pm

Does anyone have any opinions on the best option for a CPAP battery. Im traveling on an airline that won't let me plug my machine in during the flight. It's a long one so I'm hoping for suggestions on a high capacity battery. I'm using an S9 by Resmed. Thanks.

Your best bet is to do a search on the forum for battery and cpap. This issue has been discussed quite a lot in the past couple of years. For what you want the options are not cheap.

Check this out:

Not a high end solution but should last one night at least

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

OP has an Resmed S9. Respironics battery pack will work only if the Resmed DC/DC converter can be plugged into it. If OP wants to use the humidifier he'll only get 3 to 5 hours of use from this unit. This one would probably be a better choice. http://www.bestcpapprice.com/Compact-Po ... p_516.html

I have a few brand new sealed 28 amp/hr telecom batteries that would run a cpap all the way to europe. All brand new and ha e seen them used in zero fail military applications quite often. If you pay shipping I will send you a new one. Slightly larger than a motorcycle battery and sen them dropped 10 feet onto concrete without damage. Retail is abou 250.00 each. I had a few left over from a server farm upgrade.
