Respironics Users Group

Post by NightHawkeye » Wed May 17, 2006 5:05 am

Assuming that somebody on this forum had the energy and vigor to start a Respironics Users Group would you join?

Note: In order to have the necessary energy and vigor, said individual would obviously have been on xPAP for some time already. Said individual would also have experience in technical matters and be familiar with dissecting xPAP machines.

Regards,
Bill

Hmm . . ., depending on the outcome of this poll, perhaps a naming poll in a few days . . .

What would be the goal of a users group, over what we have here? What more could be done to help users? Just a few questions. Jim

That pretty much leaves just you and dsm, doesn't it?

Exclusionary. Nice move.

Didn't vote but I would consider it. I would have voted if it wasn't boolean "Maybe".

I have no interest in driving it in any manner though. Depending on mission statement and goals I would be willing to respond, provide feedback and contribute a "headcount" but not initiate.

Snoozin' and Bluezzz,

Do you have experience with dissecting xpap machines?

Give me an extra machine, a good strong hammer and hacksaw and I'll be happy to dissect it. When I am done though it will be so thoroughly dissected no one would be able to put it back together. Just like the frogs I did in biology class many, many aeons ago!

I thought this was the RemStar users forum? I vote no, beacuse I don't like to bother with more than one forum for the same thing..

Per the criteria set forth by NightHawkeye, you can't join the proposed club unless you "have experience in technical matters and are familiar with dissecting xPAP machines," so you better hurry up and get hacking if you're considering joining.

Since you have taken my remark out-of-context, I will clarify.

I was merely referring to the qualifications of the individual starting the Users Group. It was intended jocularly. I have no vested interest in who might start such a group, but I am aware of one individual who has expressed an interest in doing so.

By all means, Guest, throw your hat into the ring. Perhaps you have the necessary skills and experience needed to make such a group successful. Since no one has actually embarked upon starting such a group, that I know of, the field is wide open for you or anyone else who might be interested.

Regards,
Bill
