Here's a mask for Children 2 and older:
https://www.cpap.com/productpage/pixi-p ... -mask.html
True pediatric masks are a different category. Give us a call and we will do our best to point you in the right direction or contact our rep so they can get you the product you are looking for.

Re: Infant cpap mask?
If I am correct--I suspect OP is in Canada, will she need to use a mailing service, since the device is Resmed?

Re: Infant cpap mask?
Chunky frog if you have info please message me. I'm new to forum. Need smaller than pixi, smaller than minime, weve tried both. daughter is 8 mo old, size of 3 month old. I am trying best to figure out but as you aware can't google search this type of stuff
Re: Infant cpap mask?
Have you tried calling hospitals with neonatal and pediatric ICU's? CPAP is used regularly for some very premature babies. You can ask to speak to the respiratory therapists, and they may be able to help you find a source.
I would also suggest calling ResMed or other mask manufacturers, but in Canada it may be a problem because ResMed does not ship to Canada.

Re: Infant cpap mask?
my username should be registered now for private message if anyone has info. to make long story short need a mask smaller than pixi or minime, wondering if anyone on here has helpful information. Yes, we have a "sleep team" however they are useless because my 8 month old is the size of a 3 month old. they keep telling me to figure it out, keep telling me to sew the headgear to "make it fit." I am becoming quite angry as anyone on here may imagine how it could be uncomfortable wearing a mask too large and the danger of air leakage near your eyes. i refuse to do that to my baby.... so I am on here asking if others have guidance for my long drive, because I know where smaller masks ARE available. I suppose I am a bad mom because I am not able to figure out how to make my child's head larger. (sarcasm) i have made all possible phone calls to manufacturers, doctors, etc. and am aware of why they cannot get me smaller mask so I must find a way to get it myself. Homecare RRT has offered to try to rig nasal cannula but as a concerned parent I would think that is more dangerous as it would change pressure delivered and cannot be regulated. If anyone catch my drift please message me for my email address. I do not want to break rules on forum or upset anyone just trying to "figure it out" as doctors keep telling me to do so. unfortunately my daughter has several medical issues and we cannot treat her with the medication for her condition - which, by the way, is FDA approved, but cannot be treated until her sleep apnea is treated. So....here i am, trying to figure it out. i am new to forum and any help appreciated. thank you.

Re: Infant cpap mask?
damn! sorry to hear that. It seems so unfair that a little kid has to go through this. On the positive side, he/she won't know any different and thus not be bothered by it - like i've been wearing glasses all my life so i can't conceive of what life would be without them, doesn't seem to be a hardship since i don't know any different.

Re: Infant cpap mask?
I can't believe the doctor doesn't give you guidance or references.
What kind of medical "professional" does that?

Re: Infant cpap mask?
Yes, but it does accomplish the task and there will be line kits to connect it to your bubble cpap.Ciarasmom wrote:stl mark - thank you, i had come across that, but is that for inpatient care in hospital? daughter is home with me
You can also look at the F&P brochure here and get an idea of their product line.

Re: Infant cpap mask?
Forum member "SleepyonMagnoliaSt" hasn't been on the forum recently but you might try sending her a PM. She has a daughter now 4 yrs old but was on cpap as early as 4 months. She may have some helpful ideas and she's very nice.

Re: Infant cpap mask?
