I plan to thank Kenwood in a PM for sharing his story in case he doesn't happen to see this, and I also want to thank the Goodmans for making it possible for us create such a unique, helpful and caring community.
Hmmm. That's an interesting story. My thyroid tests are sometimes fine for awhile then they get sorta wonky, then they go back to normal. Maybe I should have that ultrasound test??? Thanks for the input kaiasgram.

I like my ResMed AirFit F10 FFM - reasonably low leaks for my ASV therapy. I'm currently using a PR S1 AutoSV 960P Advanced. I also keep a ResMed S9 Adapt as backup. I use a heated Hibernite hose. Still rockin' with Win 7 by using GWX to stop Win 10.

Very welcome -- I don't want to derail this thread so feel free to PM if you want about this thyroid stuff.

In my opinion, the immense scope of all the help that the Goodman's have provided over the many years of CPAP.com and the CPAPTalk forum will probably never be completely known. Suffice it to say, there are many, many people who have benefited greatly from their help, kindness, and generosity, both in their business practices and the forum they have continued to support. Thank you for the excellent service and products you provide to the PAP community! Thank you for the CPAPTalk Forum as it is still a wonderful place for all of us searching for hope, help, and understanding; a compassionate platform to rise above the anger, confusion, and frustration that is so prevalent in the SA/OSA world.

John

If I hadn't found this forum and all those who have mentored me through the years, I know for sure my dear husband would have had a very different outcome. Thanks to the Goodmans for saving lives.

When I was diagnosed with sleep apnea, I cried. 2008 was a horrible year for me, what with a cancer diagnosis and surgery, and my Mom's failing health.

I friend from a diabetes forum where I hung out (for information for a friend who didn't have online access) directed me to CPAPTALK.

She said, "It's not your usual CPAP Forum, but the people there are what all CPAP users should be like.

She was right.

What I learned here made it possible for my therapy to be a success.

So, thanks to the Goodmans again!

A big thumbs up +1 to the last three posts and, in all honesty, I'd certainly have to jump on board and say 'ME TOO'. I think I said basically the same thing in an earlier post, but it's hard to restrain oneself about something cool like CPAPtalk. IMO, it's twice as nice if you say it twice.

Definitely AMEN to that! Thank you Goodmans for providing this amazing forum!! Without cpaptalk, I would still be a mouth-breathing, and potentially non-compliant cpap-user. Goes without saying - thank you as well to all the forum members that have helped me and countless others over the years, and provide friendship and good laughs along the way - too many people to name, but you know who you are

And I would be nowhere without cpap.com - I live overseas and the options here are quite limited, so I stock up on cpap.com supplies whenever I can.

p.s. about the thyroid comments - check out my STTM link below, and look into iodine for the nodules.
