SD Card Info
SD Card Info
I want to use the SD card with my CPAP machine. However, when I try to log in, I am told that I first have to format the card. Since I have used the card for about two weeks, I am not sure if there is information on it, and if I format, I will lose everything. Any suggestions? Thanks for the help.
Re: SD Card Info
Which machine?
Which Software?
What wants you to log in?
So start with exactly the brand, model of your cpap machine and whatever software that you are using.

It is very helpful in getting answers to your questions if you post, using the User Control Panel, exactly what equipment that you are using.
Click on User Control Panel ( above on the left )
Then click on the Profile tab.
And finally click on Edit Equipment.
From there you can select which CPAP machine you have, what mask you are using, etc.
Since some of the machines look alike, I find it helpful to select text as the display mode.
Then you can add a note as to your pressure(s) etc.
Some comment on what software you are using to read the SD card will alert folks using that particular software so you can get some help.
One last note: until you get this figured out, formatting the card is a bad idea as it will erase all the data recorded on the card. Some machines like the Respironics System One's will re-write a significant part of the data the next time the card is inserted into the machine. But in that case, the detailed breathing data will not re-appear. It only gets recorded when the machine is in use AND the card is in the slot. Otherwise it's not recorded.
